I hope that when the sun wakes up the dawn,

you see how far your heart has gone.

For your courage has brought you here.

Have you ever felt completely lost,

wondering what this journey cost?

Drifting through a life you barely know,

unsure of where you ought to go.

The quiet whispers starts to scream,

and doubts consume your fragile dream.

Another night, you lie awake.

Is this all a mistake?

Another sunset slips out of view

Will gray and blue grow into something new?

Will distant stars align tonight

to paint your darkness full of light?

Will the fire continue to ignite or just

another smoke in a fading light?

I hope that when the sun wakes up the dawn,

you see how far your heart has gone.

For your courage has brought you here.

You did not fall, you did not yield–

ambitious, calm, and standing still.

There’s only one way out of the cage:

to stop performing on their stage.

You were never astray, my dear.

The map was drawing your steps right here.

To a place where your quiet surrender is embraced,

and you are allowed to simply be.

Where ambition is seen as brave,

and certainty is not a grave.

No permission left to crave,

no expectation left to save.

Escape the dark and survive the fear,

For you were always meant to be here.
